This was such a beautiful live! It was so wonderful seeing you both-- such genuine souls connecting. I was on the river yesterday and very much needed to be but it would have been SOOO delightful to watch this while it was happening.
My favorite parts were learning that Lis was a teacher! I almost became a middle school language arts teacher but went the ESL route instead and in higher ed. Also, the banjo!!! I live in western North Carolina where bluegrass music was born. I love the banjo! My husband has one so I know all too well about how loud it is and how uncomfortable it can get when someone doesn't know how to play it well.
Ahhh! You ladies are so refreshing! This live was not only soul fulfilling to view but highly informative too. Thank you both for sharing yourselves so openly!
What a joy to wake up to your beautiful message, Courtney! Thank you very much for your kind and supportive words. I loved hearing that you are an ESL teacher and your husband plays the banjo. How fun! Do you play an instrument? I wish you a wonderful and inspired weekend, and thank you again for sharing your beautiful words. 💖💖💖
I don’t play an instrument I’m a dancer through and through. I’ve danced my whole life. It’s my first love. My husband is much more of a guitar player than a banjo player but he tries. He’s super gifted with the guitar. I loved Claudia’s Substack jam session idea! All the other arts are here, why not music?!
How wonderful that you are a dancer. Lovely! It's beautiful that you have a home filled with music and dance. Claudia's Substack jam idea was inspiring; the wheels are spinning on how to make that happen. Thank you for the love and light, and I wish you the same. 💖💖💖
